Work Injury Benefit Act (WIBA) Insurance

Work Injury Benefits Act, 2007
Provides for compensation to employees for work related injuries & diseases contracted in the course of employment.  The benefits stipulated by the act is 96 months or 8 years earning for death or permanent disability arising from occupational illness or injury.

Despite the nullification of 9 sections of the act, WIBA is still law and employers are exposed.
