To issue a new My Auto insurance policy for your vehicle we will need the following information:

  • Name & Contact Details ( Passport copy with visa page / Emirates ID)

  • Date of Birth

  • Vehicle details – Make & Model, Year of Manufacture & Value (at the time of purchase or current estimated value) [Vehicle Registration copy (Both sides)]

  • UAE Driving License (validity 1 year or more) / copy of Driving License issued in USA, UK, Canada, European Union, Australia, South Africa, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand (validity 2 years or more )

  • Is the vehicle for private use and owned by an individual? (Car Quotation / LPO / Purchase Document (wherever applicable)

  • RTA Certificate of Transfer / Purchase of Sale (wherever applicable)

  • Is the vehicle GCC specified?

  • Details of Claims registered, if any. In case no claims have been registered, No Claim Letter for the number of years no claim has been made.

For renewing an existing My Auto policy:

You will be contacted 2 months prior to the registration expiry. No further documentation is necessary.

In the unfortunate event of an accident and in case your vehicle is damaged and cannot be driven or if it has an oil/coolant leak, please call AAA (24x7) on 800-8181 and quote the My Auto Policy Number for immediate assistance.

For Car Hire benefit while your car is being repaired, call the service provider AAA on 800-8181 and quote your My Auto Policy Number for assistance.

In case you need assistance for fixing dents call Dent Master Assistance, at 800-DENT (3368) and quote your My Auto Policy Number for assistance.

It is important to Contact us at +971 4 601-4455 (Sunday to Thursday between 8am to 5pm) or email servicecenter-me@chartisinsurance.com within 24 hours of an accident to notify a claim.

You can file a claim in the simple steps mentioned below:

Step 1
Obtain Police ReportPlease ensure that all details with regard to accident are entered in police report and vehicle details in it are correct. Additionally, make sure that damages on the vehicle are properly mentioned on the vehicle sketch in police report.

  • Provide policy number and we will verify coverage.
  • We will send you an e-mail with information on claim procedure and advice which workshop to go.
  • The e-mail we send you also serves as a confirmation for the agency/non agency workshops to proceed with repair estimation.
Step 3
Send your vehicle for repair


At the workshop, provide the following:

  • Original police report

  • Copy of driving license of the driver involved in the accident as mentioned in the police report

  • Copy of registration card of the vehicle

  • Copy of the e-mail from Chartis Call Centre

Repair shop will estimate the damages and Chartis Claims Team will take their best effort to get the repairs to begin as soon as possible. After completion of repairs you can collect the vehicle by paying any additional amount to be paid (which is not included under the policy) at the workshop.
