CrimeManager is suitable for medium to large sized public and privately-owned companies engaged in various business areas, other than financial institutions, that have been operating for a minimum of 2 years.

Some of the significant benefits offered by the CrimeManager policy follow.

• New loss settlement process incorporating an expert panel of investigators to expedite the investigation and settlement of losses. Costs of this settlement process are reimbursed 100% if the loss is covered under the policy, or, 50% if the loss is not covered by the policy.
• Pre-loss risk management services from an approved consulting firm. Chartis will contribute 10% of the premium value towards this service. The minimum qualifying premium is NZD$10,000.
• Cover is not based on identifying who caused the loss or where it occurred.
• Coverage is significantly broader than the cover provided by standard crime and fidelity guarantee policies.

Other significant features of CrimeManager policy follow.

• Automatic cover for newly acquired subsidiaries provided their turnover is less than 20% of the insured's turnover.
• Broad definition of employee and insured.
• Cover provided for undiscovered acts committed before the insurance was purchased with Chartis.
• Cover Extensions are provided for:
  1. extortion;
  2. defense costs incurred by the company if it is sued by third parties for the dishonest acts of its employees;
  3. employees of service companies providing outsourced services for the insured;
  4. indirect financial loss up to 10% of indemnity limit for contractual penalties and interest not received and interest due.
