Description

This program provides professional liability coverage for over fifty classes of professionals providing services for a fee to others. Coverage is written on a claims made basis; prior acts coverage is available to ensure continuity of coverage. Coverage for defense costs incurred in conjunction with a claim or suit filed against an insured are included in limits of liability.

Any entity which performs services for a fee for others which would not be covered under other AIG company programs, i.e. various consultants, administrators, service providers. For example, publishers, management consultants, pharmacists, opticians, real estate agents, property management, loss adjusters.

For firms based outside of the USA and Canada, coverage may be written on a worldwide basis, including the jurisdictions of the USA and Canada. For USA and Canadian companies, coverage plans are offered for foreign operational exposures and for liabilities arising from products exported from the home country.
