Features and Benefits Back To Top

Coverage under the Danish Workers' Compensation Act is as a starting point the same in all Danish insurance companies. Coverage and compensation is regulated by law. As complement to the compensation provided according to the law, Chartis can offer the following;

  • Coverage for glasses
  • Coverage for treatment by physiotherapist, chiropractor, psychologist etc.
  • Coverage for treatment by alternative therapist

Chartis is a fairly new player in this market – we are not influenced by old reserves. We base our underwriting on the current marked conditions and regulations. We see worker’s compensation as a very important part of the overall exposure for the companies.

Why Chartis Back To Top

Employees are in many cases the most important resource. A smooth and personal approach in the claims handling procedures is important for the employees. That is why Chartis puts quality and professionalism high on the agenda in the claims handling procedures. Internal service standards are in place, securing that we meet the service standards we promise.

When underwriting Workers' Compensation, Chartis takes various parameters into consideration. We do not only look at the historical losses, but also take the risk management approach in the company into consideration.

Chartis uses both internal and external consultants, which can assist companies in improving the working environment. We use the expertise and knowledge we have built from other territories in our approach and provide suggestions for improvements to the working environment.

Chartis sees workers' compensation as a long term relationship. The companies need stability around the expenses. Chartis has a team of actuaries who assist the underwriters in assessing the risk on a short term basis and a long term basis, and secure the stability for the companies, and secure premiums don’t vary dramatically from year to year.

As our aim is to provide you with the best and accurate assistance after the loss, we kindly ask you to report the claim to us without delay.
