Service Standards

We know that our rapid response to a claim, our speed of claims settlement and regular progress updates are vital to our customers. This is why our claims service standards directly target these issues. If we are liable and we think a new claim can be settled, then we aim to pay it quickly. If a new claim can't be settled straight away, then we'll respond quickly, identifying the individual handling the claims and the course of action being taken. We aim to send all payments within 5 working days of receiving all the necessary information to support the payment and we'll tell our clients whenever there are any material developments in a claim. We attach great importance to these service standards.
