The policy typically provides warehouse to warehouse coverage for physical loss of or damage to goods from an external cause, general average losses and general average contributions, sue and labour expenses incurred to prevent or mitigate a loss.
Optional extensions include loss or damage resulting from war strikes, strikes, riots and civil commotion, exhibitions, internal shipments, shipments with own vehicles and intermediate storage. In addition, our engineers and specialists can conduct on site surveys, identify potential hazards, develop loss prevention guidelines and help clients implement loss control and quality improvement programmes. Chartis Europe is also a market for consequential loss due to marine perils.
