PLL REAL Protect (“Real Estate And Land”) has been created to focus on the specific pollution exposures associated with Commercial Real Estate (CRE). Owning or operating CRE, including office buildings, shopping centers, hotels/motels, and multi-unit residential buildings, provides exposure to environmental risks, such as those associated with indoor air contaminants, which PLL REAL Protect is designed to address.

Coverage is available for the Clean-Up of new and unknown Pre-Existing Pollution Conditions, Bodily Injury, and Property Damage.
Multi-year policy terms (up to 10 years) may be available to satisfy lender requirements.
Emergency Response Costs allow an Insured to quickly respond to a pollution condition that requires immediate action without receiving a written claim from a regulatory agency.

The policy specifically addresses a variety of indoor air quality exposures including microbial matter (mould) and Legionella pneumophila. Coverage for Clean-up Costs, Bodily Injury and Business Interruption can be provided.
Coverage is available for Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims from lead-based paint or asbestos as well as Clean-Up Costs for soil, surface water, or groundwater remediation.
CrisisResponse^® coverage may mitigate the impact and expedite recovery from a loss arising from a crisis management event.
