Queensland and Victorian Floods

We at Chartis know how critical it is to be there for our clients in a time of crisis and we want you to know that we have been in action throughout these unprecedented weather events.

Chartis claims professionals have been working tirelessly to identify those clients who may have had a loss and require assistance.  We have also assembled a response team who continue to urgently review any notifications to ensure experts are appointed where required.

Drawing on both our local and global reach and catastrophe response expertise, our team of professionals have been working alongside our clients to provide guidance on document collection as well as being on-site to better understand some of our clients’ losses.  We have also issued progress payments where able, in order to ensure repairs and building works are met financially.

We are providing regular communication to our broker partners to ensure they are up to date on the status of our mutual clients’ claims and that losses are managed as efficiently as possible.

As the attention shifts from preparing for the event and clean up efforts, you can be confident that Chartis will continue to manage all losses as efficiently and fairly as possible.

Any policyholder who needs to report a claim can do so through our Lodge a Claim page.
