A) Becoming an Agent

Step One
Download the Pre-interview and Application form applicable to you.

For registration as an Individual Agent

è download the Pre-Interview Form for Individual; AND

è Application Form for Individual

For registration as a Corporate Agency

èdownload the Pre-Interview Form for Corporate; AND

èApplication Form for Corporate

Complete the Pre-Interview Form and fax it to at us Fax No. 6225 5145.

Step Two
Our Agency Manager will contact you to arrange for an interview.

Please bring along your completed Agency Application Form & other relevant documents with you when you attend the interview.

Step Three
Upon successful interview, your application will be submitted to GIAS for approval.

Step Four
Once approval is received from GIAS, you will be required to sign an Agency Agreement with Chartis Singapore Insurance Pte Ltd. An Agency Code number will be allocated to you and you will have to use this code number for all correspondences with Chartis Singapore Insurance Pte Ltd including submission of business applications. You will also be notified to attend the Agent Orientation Program (AOP) to familiarize yourself with our business operations and products.

B) Becoming a Nominee Agent

Step One
Download the Agency Application Form for Additional Nominee.

Step Two
Complete and submit the application form with your Professional* Certificates, Academic Certificates** and registration fee⁺ to:

(Attn: Agency & Broker Channel Management)

Step Three
Upon receipt of the documents, we will submit to GIAS for approval.

Step Four
You will be notified by email once the application is approved.

Important Information
* Professional Requirement
    CGI
    BCP, PGI and CommGI
    HI (if any)

** Academic Certificate
    GCE "O" level with min 3 credit passes or its equivalent or the highest educational Certificate.

If you do not posses a min. of 3 credit passes for GCE "O" Level, kindly register with Singapore College of Insurance for the "Basic Competency Examination".

⁺ Registration Fees - to be made payable to “Chartis Singapore Insurance Pte Ltd”.

^Subsequent Application for addition of up to 3^rd nominee	$20.00 + GST (applicable to initial application of less than 3 nominees)
4^th Nominee & Above	Addition of $50.00 + GST each
