We offer Commercial Lines products and services to meet the insurance needs of companies (from the small and mid-sized to the larger corporations). Our offerings include the traditional insurance coverage like Property and Casualty to the more specialty covers like Political Risk and crisis insurance.
Aerospace insurance protects individuals and businesses within the aerospace industry such as aircraft owners and operators, airport owners and operators, and aircraft product manufacturers.
Insurance covering loss and/or damage during the movement of cargo from one port/ country to another.
Trade Credit Insurance protects open account sales - export and domestic - against non-payment resulting from a customer's legal insolvency or default, and can be expanded to include political risks around the world.
The various types of coverage available include Confiscation, Expropriation and Nationalization, Currency Inconvertibility/Non-Transfer, Political Violence (including war and terrorism), Wrongful Calling of Guarantees, Contract Repudiation, Non-Honoring of Letters of Credit, and Non-Honoring of Government Guarantees.
A surety bond is a three-party agreement whereby the surety company (Chartis Singapore Insurance Pte. Ltd.) guarantees to the obligee (the owner of project) that the principal (the contractor) will perform a contract according to the agreed terms and conditions of the contract, and within the allocated time and budget. Thus, the risks of project completion are shifted from the owner to the surety company.
