• Selection of your own defense counsel;
• defense costs are paid regularly as and when they are incurred;
• defense costs are reimbursed if no liability is found after being charged with knowingly, wilfully or intentionally violating a statutory Act;
• the company and its directors and officers are covered for defence costs incurred, and fines and penalties imposed on, them jointly or together.

• Automatic cover for subsidiaries;
• automatic run off cover for subsidiaries divested during the policy period;
• an automatic 30 days extended reporting period;
• continuity of cover allowed for claims that could have or should have been notified under a prior policy, but were not.
