Szansa Female Cancer insurance provides unique coverage. It gives a substantial benefit if you are diagnosed with cancer of a female organ (Female organs meant in this insurance are breasts, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina or external genitalia).

You can receive up to 130 000 PLN benefit. This plan supports you from the early moments of the sickness and gives you opportunity to concentrate on the essentials, - getting better.

This plan can be issued to women aged from 20 to 59 years and it is valid until you reach your 65th birthday. If diagnosed with cancer or malignant cell abnormalities in any part of the body before, you can not be accepted as a policy holder.

Diagnosis compensation

Under the terms and conditions of insurance the benefit will be paid after first diagnosis of cancer of a female organ. This compensation will be paid in addition to any other income, pension, or sickness or insurance compensation or benefit.

Surgery compensation

Surgery compensation shall be paid where an illness qualifies for diagnosis compensation, provided that within 2 years of the diagnosis a physician performs surgery that is directly associated with a cancer covered by this insurance. This compensation shall be paid only once and shall not afford entitlement to compensation for diagnostic surgery such as biopsy or needle biopsy / aspiration.

No compensation or benefit shall be payable if cancer of a female organ is diagnosed within 90 days of the effective date of the insurance.

Exceptional benefits

  • Tax-free lump-sum benefit for diganosis up to  100 000 PLN. 

  • Additional benefit for surgery up to 30 000 PLN 

  • Premiums won’t increase when you get older. It will remain in the same level as it where when you enrolled. 

  • Benefits are paid regardless of other income, pension, sickness allowance or other insurance benefits. 

  • Small monthly payment. 

  • Benefits are not paid based on the expenses. You can choose yourself how to use the benefit. 

  • Insurance benefit can be of crucial importance for your economy by replacing your income during the long sick leave. You can for example pay for domestic help to make your every day life easier, pay bills or go for a stimulating holiday after you have got over the worst.

 

  1. Who can get this insurance plan?
    This plan can be issued to women aged from 20 to 59 years and it is valid until you reach your 65th birthday. If diagnosed with cancer or malignant cell abnormalities in any part of the body before, you can not be accepted as a policy holder. 
  2. How is permanent residence defined?
    You live permanently in Poland. 
  3. When does the insurance cover end?
    This insurance cover ends at latest on the next premium due date after policy holder’s 65th birthday. 
  4. What does it mean that I will be paid the benefits regardless of other insurances?
    This plan is voluntary, and provide additional coverage. The tax-free lump-sum benefits are not paid according to the expenses, but according to the table of benefits. If you have for example a insurance that cover your medical expenses from another company, you can get compensation for the expenses from that company and still be paid the benefit from Chartis Poland according to the table of benefits. 
  5. Why is this benefit tax-free?
    This is an additional voluntary insurance and the benefits are paid as a lump-sum according to the table of benefits. The lump-sum is tax-free because it is not paid instead of taxable income or on grounds of decreased income. 
  6. Do you need my health declaration for acceptance?
    Yes, policy applicant needs to declare during the call that she has not been diagnosed with cancer or malignant cell abnormalities in any part of the body before.

  8. What are female organs?
    Female organs meant in this insurance are breasts, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina or external genitalia. 
  9. What are exclusions of this policy?
    No compensation or benefit shall be paid on the basis of a cancer in the event that the insured person has or has had: 
  • cancer or malignant cell abnormalities in any part of the body that was diagnosed before the effective date of the insurance.
  • tests, examinations or corresponding measures in process before the entry into force of the insurance contract on the basis of which cancer is diagnosed. 
  • cancer of a female organ is diagnosed within 90 days of the effective date of the insurance 
  • the insured person has a tumour that has been histologically defined and/or diagnosed as a pre-malignant, local or non-invasive cancer or as a carcinoma in situ.
  • the cancer does not originate in a female organ, but has spread from an organ not covered in this policy. 
  • the insured person dies within thirty days from the date of diagnosis
