APA Social Services Professional Liability

The Social Services Professional Program provides Professional Liability for Social Workers with membership in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), private, non-profit social service agency incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 organization, and individual students or schools, including faculty and students studying the fields of psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health and Christian counseling. The program is distributed through American Professional Agency, Inc. located in Amityvile, NY. It is available on a nationwide basis, including Guam and the Virgin Islands.

Applicant must have full regular membership with NASW as well as a Council on Social Work Education accredited degree in Social Work
- An applicant whose highest degree is a BSW and is independently practicing direct clinical Social Work will not be eligible unless he/she is supervised by a professional with a Masters degree or higher in the Mental Health field.
