The Lex Idle Asset Liability Protector provides general liability and excess liability coverage to those entities that buy idle assets from residential homebuilders impaired by the residential construction market in today's economy. This will protect the new owner while their investment lies idle from the time of purchase and until the residential market improves at which point they will sell them back to other homebuilders or facilitate the completion of the projects themselves. Lexington also has the ability to provide companion property coverage for those situations involving partially completed or completed, but unsold homes/units.
