Maritime Yacht Dealers, Yacht Club, Marina, Charter Boat and Yacht Program

Maritime General Agency's (MGA) recreation marine program is available nationwide with some restrictions. MGA provides ocean marine coverage for commercial and privately owned watercraft. Coverage is available for Marinas, Boat Dealers, Yacht Clubs, Boats, Yachts and Charter, Tour & Excursion Vessels. 

MGA offers access to the Executive Yacht Policy, for yachts valued between $1 million and $5 million. The product comes with an array of coverage, including P&I, Hull, Mechanical Breakdown, and Crew Coverage. Boats and Yachts below $1 million in value are offered coverage via an online quote system. A broad coverage program is offered. Commercial Charter and Sport Fishing Charters for up to 18 passengers are eligible for the Commercial Charter Vessel Program on a risk review basis.

About our Program Administrator Back To Top

Located on the south shore of Connecticut, Maritime General Agency (MGA) has operated as our program administrator for recreational marine insurance since 1991. 

MGA employs over 20 staff members with the majority having 10 or more years in the Marine Insurance industry.  The majority of MGA's staff has extensive boating experience, and many belong to local Yacht Clubs and boating organizations.  When you deal with MGA, you deal with experienced marine underwriters who can answer your questions and guide you through the difficult process of understanding complicated marine submissions.
