Professional and Management Liability for Schools (School Leaders Risk Protector®)
School Leaders Risk Protector® provides reliable, customized protection school leaders need. Our policy is designed to protect the school entity, its administration, management, board members and others during the course of their duties for the school entity from claims arising out of any actual or alleged breach of duty, neglect, error, misstatement or omission. The policy covers defense costs and legal expenses—even when allegations are ultimately proven groundless, false or fraudulent. Plus, coverage extends to eleven employment practices violations, including retaliation claims.

- The policy offers a broad definition of “insured” that includes: the school entity and its subsidiaries (if any), the Board of Education, trustees, directors, and members of the Board of Regents (past, present, and future) and school employees – including volunteers, student teachers and student interns
- Sexual harassment coverage - including student-on-student and teacher-on-student
- Full Prior Acts coverage
- Payment of defense costs in addition to the limit of liability
- Limits up to $25 million
- Claims expenses coverage for the following: suits involving breach of fiduciary duty<sup>1</sup>, suits seeking non-monetary relief, suits involving failure to maintain insurance, Individual Education Plan (IEP) hearings<sup>2</sup> and suits involving breach of contract<sup>3</sup>
